One installer for every Octo tool. Pick what you want, pick which hosts to install it into, and it does the rest — including the shared Octo Tools toolbar inside Harmony.

Every paid tool runs as a 30-day trial with no licence key. Octo Skip Nodes is free — no trial, no key, no expiry.

Windows

Download the installer

Octo-Tools-Installer-win.zip · ~20 MB

Unzip, double-click Octo-Tools-Installer.exe, tick what you want, press Install. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway — the installer is not code-signed yet.

macOS

Download the installer

Octo-Tools-Installer-macOS.zip · ~60 KB

Unzip, then run Install Octo Tools.command. On macOS the installer is a plain script — the first run may need chmod +x "Install Octo Tools.command" in Terminal.

Windows may warn you before running it

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. It is not a detection of anything — it is what Windows shows for any new publisher. Click More info → Run anyway.

What you need

Toon Boom Harmony Premium, 17 or newer — for every tool
Blender 4.2 or newer — for Vector Bridge and Transform Sync
Autodesk Maya 2022 or newer — for Vector Bridge and Transform Sync
Python 3.9 exactly this version — Harmony's scripting runtime is built against it. Windows and macOS, Harmony tools only. The installer installs it for you on Windows if it is missing; restart Harmony afterwards, since it reads PATH at startup. Or get it from python.org

Close Harmony before installing: the installer writes into its scripts folder, and Harmony reads that folder at startup.

After installing

Open Harmony and find the toolbar under Windows ▸ Toolbars ▸ Octo Tools — it carries a button for each tool you installed, and you can reorder or hide them like any Harmony toolbar.

Each tool's own documentation has a full installation page with the details, including where files land and how to uninstall:

Licensing

Install first, decide later: every paid tool starts its 30-day trial the first time you open it, with no key and no account. When you buy, you paste the licence key into the tool itself — one licence activates one machine, and you can release it from the tool to move to another.
