Octo Tools¶
Professional scripting tools for Toon Boom Harmony.
Octo Tools is a growing suite that turns Harmony's manual, node-by-node pipeline work into real systems — rigs you can recompose and re-edit without rebuilding, bridges that bring 3D line art in as native, editable Harmony vectors, and fixes for the navigation and automation Harmony never quite finished. Built from years on the studio floor as a rigging and pipeline supervisor (Titmouse, Glitch Productions, Studio Moshi). More tools land through 2026.

Octo Rig Composer
Build a Harmony Master Controller as a rig instead of a script — frames-first pose capture, stacking pose dimensions, drivers, constraints, two-mode Look-At, visibility groups, a visual widget editor, and unroll.

Octo Scene Assembler
Build the whole Harmony scene before importing a single file — folders, PSDs, sequences, SVG and templates become a staging tree with pegs, groups, composites and art layers, then one press writes it into the Node View, wired and laid out.

Octo Vector Bridge
The line-art bridge to Harmony — Blender (Grease Pencil or Pencil+) and Maya (Pencil+) become editable native pencil lines, with raycast occlusion, a built-in raster tracer, and a WYSIWYG editor. Also imports any SVG or image.

Octo Transform Sync
Transfer rigs, animation and cameras between Toon Boom Harmony, Blender and Maya — all six directions, with bezier tangents, multi-rig and multi-camera support.

Octo Skip Nodes
Intelligent node navigation — skip groups, deforms, and hidden nodes with configurable shortcuts, plus a Tag Manager to normalize markers across a whole rig.

Flip & mirror for Harmony character rigs — flip central pieces and mirror side limbs (arms, legs) without re-drawing.

Octo Performance Capture · February 2027
Drive an Octo Rig Composer rig from a plain webcam — head, brows and blinks — then let the audio put the right mouth on top. Both inputs are opt-in and either works alone.
